Lennon - A driving lesson with a difference

Before starting school this year, Lennon, aged five, has always relied on other people to move him from place to place. Here we see his first experience of using a switch to propel his chair independently.

Using a powered platform, developed by our in house design engineer, Lennon takes control of his journey with great delight! He uses his new found freedom to have a good nose round the environment, making his own decisions as to when to stop and start. His engagement and natural curiosity are evident!

This is the beginning of Lennon’s journey towards independent mobility and the opportunity to take greater control of his life.
