CHAILEY HERITAGE CELEBRATES CHRISTMAS
Packed with lots of laughter and joy, four different celebrations took place across the School including a crib service for students past and present, parents, governors and trustees; a nativity play performed by the youngest pupils from the St Martin’s Department; a Christmas play, The Night before Christmas hosted by pupils aged 10 to 14 from Seymour, and a traditional Sleeping Beauty Christmas panto staged by the older students from the School’s Hanbury Department.

Charity ball raises £50,000 for D.R.E.A.M. Centre Appeal
On the 17th September, 300 guests came together at Glyndebourne for a glamorous autumn ball in aid of Chailey Heritage Foundation. Hosted by TV & radio presenter Katie Derham, of Strictly Come Dancing fame, the event raised £50,000 towards the Foundation’s new DREAM Centre Appeal.
Lennon - A driving lesson with a difference
Before starting school this year, Lennon, aged five, has always relied on other people to move him from place to place. Here we see his first experience of using a switch to propel his chair independently.
Noah Feels the music
Noah enjoys music and sound, but is very easily distracted by others in the class and background sounds. He can, at times, find it difficult to know what it is that he is focusing on. Last week Noah tried using a vibrating speaker, this gave him a physical reference for the music he was listening to on the iPad.
